Alton Welborn

Alton N. Welborn, 75, of the Liberty Community, Tiger, GA., died Thursday April 23, 2015, at his home.

Born in Rabun County, Georgia., October 25, 1939 He was the son of the late Buster (Buck) Welborn and Savannah Justus Welborn.

Alton Retired as a landscaper and had worked in the building industry for a number of years. He was of the Baptist Faith. Alton touched the lives of many people in the county.

He is survived by his wife, Ellender Mashburn Welborn of the home., one son, Nelson (Linda) of Wiley, GA., and one daughter, Deidre Quilliams (James) of Tiger, GA., Two grandchildren, Chad and Collin Welborn.

Funeral Services will be at 4:00 P.M. Saturday April 25, 2015 at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home by Rev. Kenny Kilby. The body will be cremated following the services.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends Saturday April 25, 2015 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. (The Funeral Hour). The family is at home in the Liberty Community.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made, in his memory, to Sid Webber Memorial Cancer Fund P.O. Box 485 Rabun Gap, GA. 30568
