Bennett Barnes 93, Tiger


Thomas Bennett Barnes, 93, of Kaolin Lane, Tiger, died Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at his home.
Mr. Barnes was born March 17, 1917 in Chicago, Illinois he was a son of the late Bennett Cashmire and Helen Noonan Barnes. He was an Aircraft Mechanic with the Ford Aircraft Division and was a member of the Holy Cross Catholic Church in St. Petersburg, Florida.
He was the last member of his immediate family.
Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Irene Barnes of the home; one son, Robert Barnes of Clayton, GA; two daughters, Beverly Woodward of Clayton, GA. and Jackie Capps of Tiger, GA.; six grandchildren, one great grandchild and one great great grandchild also survive.
The body has been cremated and no services are planned at this time.
