Charles Dwayne Curtis

Charles Dwayne Curtis, 61, of Lakemont, GA passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at his home.

Born in Florence, AL on October 2, 1959, he was the son of the late Riley Curtis and Josephine Boarden. He worked for the First Baptist Church in Florence, AL as a custodian. He was a Baptist by Faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Riley and Josephine Curtis, one son, Tony Curtis, a brother, Phillip Curtis and a sister, Betty Eller. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie "Renee" Curtis of the home, a daughter Victoria "Tori" Curtis (Jennifer) of Lakemont, GA and by two special cousins, Deloris Burdett and Bobby King both of Toccoa, GA.

The body has been cremated. The family will receive friends at the Eastside Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 from 5:00pm until 6:00pm. A memorial service will follow at 6:00pm with Rev. Teddy King and Dr. Karen Frank officiating.
