David Franklin Taylor, 65, Clayton, Georgia.


David Franklin Taylor, 65, of Prime Hill Drive, Clayton, Georgia died Sunday October 30, 2011 in Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville, Georgia.
Born in Habersham County September 1, 1946, he was the son of the late Fred H. and Inez Savage Taylor. He was a US Marine Corps. Veteran of Vietnam and was employed in the upholstery industry for many years, and was of the Baptist Faith.
Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by four brothers; Joe, Robert, Ray and Paul Taylor and a nephew and great niece. He is survived by three sons; David F. Taylor, Jr. of Homosassa, FL., William Derrek Taylor and Darren Matthew Taylor both of Griffin, GA. Two sisters; Mae Taylor Jones of Clayton, GA., and Betty Taylor Smith of Lakemont, GA. Four grandchildren; Jerry, Austin, Carley and Hallie Taylor also survive.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday November 2, 2011 at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Cannon and Layman Lloyd Hunter officiating. Burial will be in MT. Zion Cemetery at Turnerville, Georgia.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends Tuesday November 1, 2011 from 6 to 8 P.M.
The family is at the home of his niece, Karon Miller on Watts Road, Tiger, GA.
