Doris Ann Queen Forester, 82, of Stekoa Falls Road, Clayton, Georgia., died Wednesday morning November 9, 2011 at her residence.
Born in Rabun County July 25, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Jacob Ernest Queen and Allah Moseley Queen (Ramey). She was the widow of William Harris Forester. Doris was a bookkeeper (Retired) with A&P Tea Company. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star (OES) Chapter 164, Clayton, Georgia., and was of the Baptist Faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harris Forester and by her parents, Ernest Queen and Allah Moseley; and is survived by two sons; Ronald D. Forester of Vernona, VA., and Randall H. Forester and his wife Delia (Dee) of Athens, GA. One sister, Allene Queen Phillips of Clayton, GA., and one grandson, Matthew Forester.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday November 11, 2011 at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Madison McCrackin officiating. Burial will be in the Rabun Memory Park Cemetery.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends Thursday evening November 10, 2011 from 6 to 8 P.M.
The family is at the home one Stekoa Falls Road, Clayton, Georgia.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made, in her memory, to the American Cancer Society P.O. Box 22718 Oklahoma City, OK. 73123-1718
