Dorothy Rose Roberts Maxwell, 93, of Tiger, widow of Benjamin Glynn Maxwell, Jr. died Friday February 8, 2008 in the Chatuge Regional Nursing Home in Hiawassee, GA.
Born July 9, 1914 in Carroll County, Georgia she was a daughter of the late Edward Franklin and Rosalie Martin Roberts. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and a member of the Victory Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law; Daniel F. Maxwell and wife Judy of Tiger, GA, four grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by a son; Benjamin G. Maxwell, III, and a daughter; Mignon Seay.
Funeral services will be held at 4 PM Sunday February 10, 2008 from the Whitley-Garner Rose Haven Funeral Home Chapel in Douglasville, GA, with the Rev. Jerrell E. Dickerson officiating. Burial will follow in the Victory Baptist Church Cemetery in Douglasville, GA.
The family will receive friends from 3 until 4 PM on Sunday at Whitley-Garner Rose Haven Funeral Home in Douglasville, GA.
