Eileen Swanson

Eileen Swanson, 97, of Payne Hill Drive, Clayton, Georgia, died Monday December 16, 2013 at her residence.

Born in Sioux City, Iowa February 12, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Durant Hilton and Susan Ruth Stanford Hilton. She was the widow of Ernest Allen Swanson, Sr. She attended Rabun Senior Center, loved to cook and loved bingo and was good at both.

Mrs. Swanson was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband and by a son, DR. Ernest A. Swanson, Jr. and is survived by nephews, nieces and cousins.

Funeral Services will be at 3:00 P.M. at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home Sunday December 22, 2013, conducted by Rev. Ray Hilton.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends Sunday December 22, 2013 from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. with services at 3:00 P.M.
