Ethel Wall Bingham, 82, of Hannah Mountain Drive, Otto, North Carolina, died Monday May 30, 2011 at Harris Regional Hospital Sylva, North Carolina.
Ethel was Born June 19, 1928 in Rabun County Georgia to the late Leonard and Lula Smith Wall. She was a homemaker and avid quilter and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Otto, North Carolina. She was the last member of her family of twelve.
She was preceded in death by one son, Robert Wall, seven brothers and four sisters. She is survived by three sons, James S. Cross of Toccoa, GA, Leonard G. Cross of Tiger, GA and Harvey Bingham of Franklin, NC. One daughter Mae Raxter of Andrews, NC. Fourteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M June 2, 2011 at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Layman Lloyd Hunter officiating. Burial will be in the Asbury Cemetery, Otto, North Carolina.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends from 7 To 9 P.M.Wednesday evening, June 1, 2011.
The family is at the home of her son and daughter-in-law Harvey and Lynn Bingham of Wide Horizan Drive, Franklin, North Carolina.
