Freda Wooten Beaty, 54, of Clayton, died Saturday, May 5, 2012 in Oconee Hospice of the Foothills Seneca, SC.
Mrs. Beaty was born August 17, 1957 in Macon County, NC. She was a daughter of Fred R. and Ila Scott Wooten. She worked in the textile industry for many years and attended the Clayton Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Harold “Buck” Beaty.
Survivors include a son, Jack Beaty of Clayton; Fred R. and Ila Scott Wooten of Clark’s Chapel, NC. One sister, Shelia James and husband Clayton of Seneca, SC. And one granddaughter, Julie Beaty of Clayton, GA.
Funeral services will be at 2 PM Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at the Hunter Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Cannon officiating. Burial will follow in the Antioch Methodist Church Cemetery Clayton, GA.
The body is at Hunter Funeral home where the family will receive friends from 12 PM until 2 PM the funeral hour Wednesday, May 9, 2012. The family is at their respective residences.
