Guy Fisher

Guy Oliver Fisher, 88 of Clayton, and Oceanside, California, passed away Wednesday December 26, 2012
He is survived by: his daughter, Jennifer Fisher Chinn of Atlanta; son, Robin Guy Fisher and wife Anne Taylor Fisher of Atlanta; daughter, Holly Fisher Cantrell and husband James C. Cantrell III of Snellville; son, Perry Scott Fisher and wife Julie Fisher of Dallas, GA.; grandchildren, Rachael, Andrew, Steven, Claire, Alex and Nikolai; and great-grandchild, Decker.
Mr. Fisher was a U.S. Navy Veteran, serving as a hospital corpsman master chief for 28 years. He worked as administrator of Ridgecrest Hospital in Clayton from 1971-79. After retirement, he and his wife of 62 years, Marion Fisher, lived in Rabun County.
A memorial service will be held Saturday January 5, 2013 2:00 P.M. at the Clayton First United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Charles Green officiating. Interment will follow at Roane Cemetery with military honors.
