Hattie Decora McCall 95, Clayton, GA


Hattie Decora McCall, 95, of the Five Points Community, Clayton, GA., died Friday, March 21, 2008 at the Mountain Lakes Medical Center.
Born June 29, 1912 in Macon County, North Carolina, she had spent most of her life in Rabun County she was a daughter of the late Avery and Laura Talley McCall. She was a retired School Teacher having taught 27 years, most of which was teaching in Rabun County and she also had taught in Habersham County, she was a graduate of Piedmont College and was an active member of the Clayton Church of God where she served as Church Clerk and as a Sunday School Teacher in various classes for a number of years.
She was preceded in death by sisters; Bertha McCall Wilborn, Gretta McCall and Bessie McCall Vinson, Brothers; Greene McCall and Greeley McCall.
Survivors include a sister; Lassie McCall of Clayton, GA, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 24, 2008 at 2 PM from the Clayton Church of God with the Rev. Bryan Alexander and Rev. James Pendrey officiating.
Burial will follow in the Clear Creek Community Cemetery, in Macon County, North Carolina.
The family is at the home and will receive friends at the Clayton Church of God from 6 until 9 PM Sunday, March 23, 2008.
