Justin Cox , 17 , of the Chechero Community Rt. 3 , Clayton , Ga. died Friday Jan. 9 , 2009 at his home.
Born in Oakland County , Michigan he was the son of loving parents , Mike and Tonya Owens . He had lived in Rabun County for the last Ten years. He was a student at Rabun County High School .
Besides his loving parents , Mike and Tonya Owens of Clayton and Jay and Stacey Cox of Michigan , he is survived by brothers , Nicholas , Jordan and Gage all of Michigan and by sisters , Briana of the home , Brittney and Makala of Clarkesville , Ga. and Courtney of Michigan . , By grand parents ; Ben and Patty Stanley of Otto , North Carolina and Robert and Vonnie Hunnicutt of Michigan , by Don and Ona Owens of Clayton and Jane Cox of Kentucky . A host of other relatives also survive .
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 P.M. Monday January 12 , 2009 at the Clayton Church of God with Rev. Brian Alexander and Perry Lunsford officiating . Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Franklin , North Carolina . The family is at the home in the Chechero Community, Rt. 3, Clayton , Ga.
The body is at the Hunter Funeral Home and will be taken to the Clayton Church of God Sunday, Jan. 11 , 2009 at 6 P.M. where family will receive friends until 8 P.M.
