Lillian Jones Watts, 85, Clayton, Ga.


Lillian Jones Watts, 85, of Wiley Church Lane, Wiley Ga., died Monday January 25, 2010 at her home.
Born in Rabun County March 14, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Harvey P. Tyler and Martha Smith Tyler.
She was retired after several years as a food service employee with Rabun County Hospital and with the Claburne MFG. Company in the textile industry. She was a member of Boggs Mountain Baptist Church. She was twice married, first to the late Hilton A. Jones and later to the late Roy E. Watts.
She is survived by; three daughters Lucille Jones Meggett of Clayton, Ga., Phyllis Jones Ramey and Janice Jones Hembree, both of Wiley, Ga., three brothers, James Tyler of Alto, Ga., Cecil Tyler, of Mt. City, Ga., and Robert Tyler, of Homer, Ga., five sisters Katherine Davis of Eatonton, Ga., Clara Faye Baker of Rabun Gap, Ga., Virginia Tyler of Ft. Pierce, Fl., Joan Varner of Marion, SC., and Ruth Rigney of North Carolina. Five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 P.M. Thursday January 28, 2010 at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Vaughn Stancil and Layman Lloyd Hunter officiating. Burial will be in Rabun Memory Park.
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends from 6 to 9 P.M. Wednesday night, January 27, 2010.
The family is at home on Wiley Church Lane, Wiley.
Hunter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
