Mildred Carpenter

Mildred Webb Carpenter, 70, of the Betty's Creek Community in Rabun Gap, GA passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at her home.

Born November 20, 1950 in Rabun County, GA she was the daughter of the late Lennex Thomas Webb and Ida Frances Crane Webb. She spent her life in North Carolina and in Georgia. She was a housewife.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lennex and Ida Webb, a son, Joshua Wayne Carpenter and brothers, Shirley Lee Webb and Steve Webb. She is survived by her husband, Larry Wayne Carpenter, a son, David Webb (Marsh) of North Charleston, SC, a daughter, Elizabeth C. Carpenter of Westminster, SC and a brother, Kenneth C. Webb of Westminster, SC. Four grandchildren also survive.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where Be A visitation From 1:00 Till 2:00 PM funeral services will be held at the Eastside Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 2:00pm with Rev. Tim McCall and Rev. Lester Ball officiating. Burial will follow at Clear Creek Cemetery in Highlands, NC.

The family is at the home on Betty's Creek Road in Rabun Gap.
