Paul Henry Ward 84, Rabun Gap, Georgia


Paul Henry Ward, 84, of Ward Lane, Rabun Gap, Georgia, died Saturday December 15, 2012 at his residence. He was the husband of Darlene Burke Ward.
Born in Linwood, Pennsylvania. April 11, 1928, he was the son of the late Ervin Norman Ward and Margaret White Ward. He was a hospital engineer and served in the Merchant Marines in WWII. He was of the Protestant Religion.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene Burke Ward of the home- two sons, Paul Ward Jr of Mechanicsburg, PA., and Michael Palmer of Clayton, GA., two daughters, Judy Sipowicz of Summerville, TN., and Betty Bliss of Rabun Gap, GA. One brother, Ray Ward of Las Vegas, Nevada. One sister, Janet Cavaliera of Mt. Laurel, NJ. Sixteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren also survive.
The body has been cremated and a memorial service will be held at Hunter Funeral home at 11:00 A.M. Friday December 28, 2012.
