Robert Shook

Robert Lynn Shook , 38 , of Lakemont, Georgia died Monday night February 1, 2016 in Habersham Medical Center.

Born in Habersham County March 30, 1977 , He had spent most of his life in Rabun County. He was the son of Joyce Asherbranner Shook of Clayton and the late Perry E. Shook.

He was a heavy equipment operator and of the Baptist faith.

Lynn was preceded in death by his father and by a sister, Kimberly Shook and is survived by his mother , Joyce Asherbranner Shook of Clayton , Ga. and his companion of fourteen years , Inez Creed of the home. One brother, Jerry Shook (Stacy) of Coleman , Michigan. , His maternal grandmother , Martha Gibson Asherbranner of Demorest , Ga.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday Feb. 4, 2016 at the Chapel of Hunter funeral home with Rev. Larry Cannon and Rev. Marvin Reid officiating. Layman Lloyd Hunter will conduct graveside service at Liberty Cemetery.

The body is at Hunter funeral home with visitation being Wednesday evening Feb. 3 , 2016 from 7 to 9 PM.

The family is at the home in Lakemont.
