Sandy Scroggs Nation , 58, of Hazel Ave., Demorest , Ga. died Tuesday December 9 , 2008 at her residence in Demorest , Ga.
Born in Gaston County , North Carolina , She was the daughter of the late Willam Virgil and Hattie Martin Scroggs . She was employed in Customer Service for Circle K. for many years . She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Gastonia , North Carolina and attended the Torch Church in Cornelia , Ga.
She was preceded in death by a brother , Lonnie Scroggs, and is survived by one daughter Windy Wood of Demorest , Ga. , Two sons , James Richard Nation , Jr. of Demorest and Nathan A. Nation of Cornelia , Ga. , one sister , Oma Lee Robbins of Gastonia , North Carolina , two brothers , Lewis Scroggs of Cornelia and Bobby Scroggs of Mount Airy , Ga. twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren and several nephews,nieces and cousins also survive .
Graveside Services will be at Level Grove Cemetery in Cornelia , Ga. at 2:00 P.M. Friday December 12 , 2008 with Rev. Milton Harris officiating .
The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday December 11, 2008 .
The family is at her home on Hazel Ave. in Demorest , Ga.
