Smiley Woods, 68, loving husband of 41 years to Denise R. Woods, passed away Sunday, August 8, 2021 at his home.

Smiley was born September 24, 1952, a son of the late Gernell Lee and Grace Josephine Woods. Mr. Woods loved being outdoors and taking long nature walks.

Survivors include his wife, Denise; two children, Jason Wayne Woods (April) of Central, and Justin Shane Woods (Chasity) of Six Mile, three grandchildren, Hannah Woods, Jaydon Woods, and Cale Connelly, one sister, Ellen Watts, one brother Mickey Woods both of Clayton Georgia along with many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Woods was predeceased by his brother, Ralph Woods.

Graveside services to honor Smiley will be held on Friday, August 13,2021 at 2:00 pm at Price Cemetery in Clayton Georgia (Located on Jake Field Ln. off of Highway 76).

Flowers will be accepted.
