Alan Thomas West

Alan Thomas West, age 75, of Clayton, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025.

Mr. West was born on August 28, 1950, and preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy and Margaret Hines. Alan was a faithful member of Clayton Baptist Church, where his faith played an important role in his life. He was employed with Bechtel Construction Company, where he served as a supervisor, a position he held with dedication, leadership, and pride. In his free time, Alan enjoyed playing golf, spending many happy hours on the course with friends and family. He was also a devoted fan of the Georgia Bulldogs, rarely missing an opportunity to cheer them on and proudly support his favorite team.

Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Heath West (April) and Tommy West (Lisa); and seven grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 4:30-6 pm on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Hunter Funeral Home.
