Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Ms. Alicia Scoggins, age, 68 of Dillard, Georgia formerly of Jefferson who entered rest Monday, September 7, 2026. Ms. Scoggins was born in Winder, Georgia a daughter of the late Levi Lincoln Scoggins and the late Georgia Lou Looney Scoggins. Ms. Scoggins was a dedicated member of Galilee Christian Church. She dearly loved her church family and was very attentive to everyones needs.

Alicia is survived by a brother, Wayman Scoggins, Monroe, Georgia, her sisters, Lilly Fleeman of Winder, and Elizabeth Hicks of Lula, Georgia. Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, great nieces, great nephews, and friends also survive.

Graveside services will be held 2 PM Thursday, September 10 , 2026, at the Thyatira Presbyterian Cemetery, 2610 Commerce Road, Jefferson, Georgia with Pasor Nick Vipperman officiating.

The family will hold a reception immediately following the service a in the fellowship Hall at Galilee Christian Church, 2191 Galilee Church Road Jefferson, Georgia for all who would like to attend and share a story about Alicia.
