Allene J Church

Allene J. Church, 95, passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at her daughter's residence in Clayton, GA.

Born February 26, 1926 she was the daughter of the late Issac Benson Justus and Mary Ellen McDowell. She was born in Rabun County, GA and lived her life in Rabun County where she worked in the as a supervisor in the textile industry for the Outerwear Company. She was of the Presbyterian Faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Issac and Mary Ellen Justus, two sons, J.C. Love and Robert Love, a brother, T.C. Justus of Atlanta, GA, five Sisters Juanita Hopper, Fanny Mae Justus, Ibbie Bradley, Virginia Ivester and Savannah Welborn and a grandson, Wade Love. She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn and Hayden Crowe of Johns Creek, GA, two brothers, James Justus of Mt. City and Doug Justus of Atlanta, GA. Nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren also survive.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where a visitation will take place at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home on Sunday, August 15, 2021 from 12:30-1:30pm, a graveside service will follow at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery at 2:00pm with Rev. Thomas Burrell officiating.

The family is at the home of her daughter on Yunai Circle in Clayton.
