B.C. Parker

B.C. Parker , 89 , of Clayton , Ga. died Wednesday July 6 , 2016 in Mtn. Lakes Medical Center. He was the widower of Dorothy Ellen Baker Parker. Born in Clayton, Ga. March 7 , 1927 , He was the son of the late C.A. Parker and Bessie Viola Justus Parker. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WW2 and a member of the Persimmon Church of God.

He was retired from General Motors and had lived half of his life in Michigan and half of his life in Clayton , Ga.

Besides his wife and parents , He was preceded in death by two brothers , Bruce Parker and Bentley Parker and is survived by a son Brad Parker (Pat) of Waterford Michigan , Two brothers , Britton Parker of Florida and Branson Parker of Gilmer ,Texas. Two sisters , Betty Jean Whitmire of Mt. Airy , Ga. and Bertha Fountain of Clayton , Ga. Two grandchildren , Jeff Parker and Linda McHale and two great grandchildren , Jessica McHale and Andrew McHale.

Funeral Services will be Sunday July 10 , 2016 at 2pm at the Eastside Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Glenville Nichols and Layman Lloyd Hunter officiating. Burial will be in the Persimmon Baptist Cemetery.

The body is at Hunter funeral home chapel where visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Saturday July 9 , 2016. The family is at their respective residences.
