Betty Justus

Betty Kendrix Smith Justus, 79, of East Wolf Creek Road Tiger, GA., died Monday March 9, 2015 at her daughter’s residence with her loved ones by her side.

Born in Rabun County, Georgia., October 16, 1935 she was the daughter of the late Willis Pinkney Kendrix and Cora Moore. She was preceded in death by two husbands, first to the late William Harold Smith who died in 1985 and later to Marler T. Justus who died in 2009. She was retired from Burlington Industries and was a member of the Camp Creek Baptist Church for forty five years. She also was an avid animal lover and her cats and dogs adored her too.

She is survived by one daughter, Joyce Southards Waters and one step daughter, Sandra Justus Davis. Seven nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be Thursday March 12, 2015 at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. John Gipson officiating. Burial will follow in Rabun Memory Park Tiger, Georgia.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends Thursday March 12 from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. (the funeral hour). The family is at the home of her daughter and son-in-law Joyce and James Waters on Side Track Lane Tiger, Georgia.
