Beverly Lindsey Perry, 88, of Tiger, GA, died Thursday May 10, 2018 in Cannonwood Village in Tiger.

Born in Fulton County, March 13, 1930 she was the daughter of the late Harvey Lindsey, Sr., and Leila Barden Lindsey. She was twice married, first to Horace E. (Steve) Cannon, Jr., and to Edwin Orr Perry who survives. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Clayton. She was a member of the Women’s Guild of the Methodist Church and was former president of the Clayton Garden Club and served eight years on the Clayton City Council. She was very active in church and community affairs until the last few years.

Beverly was known to her family and friends as “Bev” and to her childern and grands as “Lovie” She is preceded in death by her parents Harvey, Sr., and Leila Barden Lindsey and by her first his husband, Steve Cannon and a brother, Harvey Lindsey, Jr., and is survived by her husband, Edwin Orr Perry of Tiger, GA., by twin sons, Horace Cole Cannon of Hilton Head, SC., William Cass Cannon (Pamela) of Cumming, GA., one daughter, Jolie Cannon (Anthony) of Clayton, GA., Four grandchildren, Kirk and Derek Donnell and Cassidy and Bridget Cannon, also three great grandchildren, Lilly, Reese and Remi Donnell.

The body has been cremated and a memorial service will be held at the First Clayton United Methodist Church Saturday May 19, 2018 at 1:00PM in the sanctuary with Rev. Tommy Jameson officiating. A meet and greet family visitation will be in the church fellowship hall from 12:00 Noon to 12:45 PM prior to (the service hour). 91 South Main Street Clayton, GA. 30525

Family asks that in lieu of Flowers memorial donations be made, in her memory, to the Clayton First United Methodist Fellowship Hall 205 Minister Drive Clayton GA. 30525. The family is at the home of her daughter, Jolie Cannon and Anthony Laster on Derrick Street, Clayton, GA.
