Bobbie James Loudermilk

Bobbie James Loudermilk, 81, of Lakemont, GA left his earthly home on July 3, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Lillie Shirley Loudermilk. He was also preceded by two brothers, Leon Loudermilk, Jimmy Loudermilk, and one sister, Martha Loudermilk.

He is survived by his two children Michael Loudermilk of Cleveland, GA, Anna Garrett of Dahlonega, GA and his two devoted sisters and brothers-in-law, Merietta and Marshal Jones of Lakemont and Lynette and Randall Patton of Tallulah Falls. He also is survived by two sisters-in-law, Janie Loudermilk of Lakemont and Gail Lewis of Pinellas Park, FL as well as many nieces and nephews.

Bob was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force where he served from 1960 to 1966. He later returned home to Lakemont where took up the trade of woodworking and was co-owner of the Lake Rabun Cabinet Shop for many years. He was a familiar face in the Lakemont and Wiley communities and was regarded by those closest to him as a funny, kind, and generous soul.

A memorial service will be held at Lakemont Baptist Church on July 5, 2023, at 2:00 PM.
