Cathy Jean Wall

Cathy “Cat” Jean Wall, age 52, of Lakemont, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2026.

She was born on June 9, 1974, in Stephens County, Georgia, and was the daughter of the late Robert William Wall and Vickie Gabriels Doorley.

Cat loved Jesus and never met a stranger. She loved being outdoors, especially fishing. She also enjoyed writing, coloring, and playing Rummy with her friends and family. Cat had a special love for her animals and her family, especially her daughter, Kyleigh, who was truly her world.

She is survived by her daughter, Kyleigh Wall and her fiancé, Jacob Holcomb; two sisters, Lawanda Craig (Gary) and Rita Smith; nephews, Will Craig (Breeyah), Garrett Craig, Jesse Alley, Jonathan Alley, and Austin Smith; nieces, Jessica Welch, Jan Bader, and Sabrena Stancil; great-niece, Wrennie Craig; great-aunt, Barbara Williams; and several other extended family members and close friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Geneva Gabriels, Doris Welch and Ethel Bingham; her significant other, Randall Wood; her nephew, Levie Blackwell; and her best friend, Tony Welch.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at Tallulah Falls Cemetery from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. The family invites friends and loved ones to come by, share stories, and enjoy a time of fellowship as they gather in remembrance of Cathy.
