Charles D. (Chuck) Massengill, 69, of M.J. Shirley Drive, Clayton, GA., died Tuesday evening, December 8, 2015 in Habersham Medical Center


He was born September 10, 1946 in Richmond, Indiana to the late William and Gertha Frady Massengill. He was a carpenter by trade and was a member of the Wiley Church of God and was recently attending Battle Branch Baptist Church.


Chuck is survived by his wife, Kathy Jean Gipson Massengill of the home, one daughter, Gertha Massengill Ramey of Clayton, one brother, Dennis Massengill of Clayton, GA., three grandchildren, one uncle, Talmadge Frady, of Clayton, GA.


The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends Saturday night December 12, 2015 from 6 to 8 P.M. The family is at the home on M.J. Shirley Drive. Clayton.


Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Sunday December 13, 2015 at Hunter Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmie Kilby officiating. Cremation will follow the services on Sunday.


Family asks that in Lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made, in his memory, to Chuck Massengill Memorial Fund at Rabun County Bank, P.O. Box 845 Clayton, GA. 30525
