Charles Edward "Ed" Shedd

Charles Edward "Ed" Shedd, aged 68, of Demorest, GA, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2023. He was born on November 28, 1954, to his late parents Harold and Evelyn Shedd. His presence will be greatly missed by his loved ones and the community he was a part of.

Ed was a remarkable individual who dedicated himself to making a positive impact on the lives of others. His involvement in various charities exemplified his unwavering commitment to helping those in need. Ed's passion for serving extended beyond his charitable endeavors, as he actively participated in multiple churches within the community. His strong faith and devotion to Christ were evident in every aspect of his life, as he strived to live according to the teachings of the Lord. Ed's selflessness and dedication serve as an inspiration for all who knew him, leaving a lasting legacy of compassion and service.

Ed is survived by a loving family. His son, Curtis Shedd, and grandson Knox Shedd remain to cherish his memory. Additionally, he is survived by his brothers and sisters: Walter Shedd of the home, Bonnie Smith (Ed) of Clarkesville, GA, Brad Shedd (Sheila) of Lakemont, GA, and Richard Harmon (Diane) of Lakemont, GA. Furthermore, several nieces and nephews also mourn his loss.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at Camp Creek Baptist Church in Lakemont, GA. Prior to the service, there will be visitation hours from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the church. Following the service, interment will take place in the Camp Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
