Chrichelle Holcomb

Chrichelle (Shelly) Holcomb, 32, of Homer, Georgia., formerly of Rabun County, died Monday January 27, 2014 in Emory University Hospital.

She was born April 9, 1981 in Stephens County, Georgia., and had lived most of her life in Rabun County. She was a Rabun County High School graduate and worked at Suds and Bubbles- but had been disabled- she was a member of Special Olympics and attended Wolf Creek Baptist Church.

Shelly is survived by her parents, Robert and Susie Ivester Taylor of Homer, GA., maternal grandparents, Doyce and Sarah Crump Lovell of Homer, GA., and paternal grandparents, Bobby and Linda Baker Taylor of Dillard, GA., and by grandmother Ruth Grant of Clayton.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday February 1, 2014 at the new Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Chuck Stutsman and Rev. Thomas Gragg officiating. Burial will follow in the Rocky Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Tiger, Georgia.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends Friday January 31, 2014 from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M. The family is at the home of her aunt and uncle, Tracy and Anthony McCracken on Old HWY. 441 Lakemont, Georgia.
