Christine Norton Wilson

Christine Norton Wilson, age 99, passed away on August 20, 2023, at Mountain View Health and Rehab Center. She was born on May 5^th, 1924, in Dillard, GA to her parents, Miller and Algie (Garland) Norton.

Throughout her life Christine worked as a cashier at several grocery stores. Her friendly demeanor and remarkable ability to form connections left a lasting impression on every individual she encountered. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a friend to many.

She is survived by her children, Tommy Wilson and Patty of Rabun Gap, GA, and David Wilson and Elaine Minton of Otto, NC; nine grandchildren, Ben Wilson, Sam Wilson, Amy Nguyen, Dan Wilson, Grace Black, Lily Wilson, Jed Wilson, Joy Wilson, and Tim Wilson; five great-grandchildren; and two nieces who were dear friends, June Givan and Pat Katterson.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruby Burrell and Ruth Darnell.

A celebration of Christine's life will be held at a later date.
