Clara Mae Ramey

Clara Mae Ramey, age 88, of Wiley, GA passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2022.

Born on October 11, 1933, in Rabun County she was the daughter of the late Simmie and Annie Coalley Free. She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Virgil Ramey who passed away in 1992; two sons, Ronald Dean Ramey, and Arthur Bry Ramey.

She is survived by one daughter, Denise Watts; two sons Lester Ramey and wife Dolly, and Edwin Ramey; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family also survive.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 10, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Eastside Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Carver officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 pm prior to the service. Burial will follow at Godfrey Cemetery.
