Claudette Chastain

Claudette Chastain, 62, of Dillard, GA passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at New Horizon.Gainesvillie,Georgia
 
Born in Rabun County, GA on July 12, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Claude W. Holt and Ethel Cantrell. She lived in Rabun County and worked as a cook for the Board of Education. She was a member of the Flats Middle Creek Baptist Church and the Sky Valley/Scaly Mtn Fire Department.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Ethel Holt and her husband, Ned Chastain a brother, Robert Holt and a sister, Frances Holt. She is survived by a son, Neal and Elaine Chastain of Scaly Mt, NC, a daughter, Darlene Chastain of Dillard, GA and sisters, Evalyn Norris of Franklin, NC, Ruth Billingsley of Scaly Mt., NC and Marie and David Carver of Scaly Mt., NC. Three grandchildren also survive. 

The body is a Hunter Funeral Home and will be taken to The Flats Middle Creek Baptist Church Cemetery for a graveside service on Wednesday December 23, 2020 at 1:00pm with Rev. Jamie Chastain and Rev. Marty Kilby officiating. The Family Ask IN Lieu of Flowers Memorials be made to the Sid Weber cancer Fund at Po Box 485 Rabun Gap Georgia 30568
