Clifton Jay Eller

Clifton Jay Eller, age 83, of Clayton, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025. He was born on May 30, 1942, in Towns County, Georgia, to the late Bennie Ray Eller and Rosa Mae Eller.

Clifton was a lifelong resident of Rabun County and attended Church of the Mountains. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, and he treasured the time he shared with his family and friends.

He is survived by his daughter, Rosemary Piearson; his sister, Helen Crunkleton; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Eller and Hansel Eller; and his sisters, Eester Quilliams, Jessie Shirley, Evelyn Conley, Bessie Turpin, and Joyce Galloway.
