Dale Roy Houck

Dale Roy Houck, age 69, of Clayton, Georgia, passed away of natural causes on December 15, 2025, in Clayton.

Dale was born on May 15, 1956, in Pontiac, Michigan. He later made his home in Clayton, Georgia, where he was well known for his strong work ethic and hands-on skills. Dale was an avid outdoorsman and a skilled mechanic. He was the owner of Dale’s Asphalt Paving and took pride in his work. In his spare time, he especially enjoyed working on vehicles.

Dale is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Lavery and Jaclyn (Wes) Nitschky; two grandsons, Coby Lavery and Cory Lavery; and two granddaughters, Julia McLynn and Natasha Nitschky.

He is also survived by his brothers and sisters: Norman Houck, Marie Watts, Sandy Walker, Tammy Sparks, Susan West, and Judy Lovell.

Dale was preceded in death by his father, Harold Houck; his mother, Lois Houck; and his brother, Gary Houck.

Graveside services will be held Friday, December 19, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, with Pastor Raymond Page officiating.
