Dee Garland

Woodrow Dee Garland , 69 , of Wayah Trail , Clayton , Ga. died Wednesday February 17 , 2016 in Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Born in Rabun County , Ga. , May 18 , 1946 , He was the son of Ida Mae Wall Garland of Clayton and the late Robert Earl Garland , Sr.

He was a contractor in the building industry and was a member of the Blue Heights Baptist Church.

Dee is survived by his wife , Linda Mason Garland of the home , two sons , Wesley D. Garland (Pam) Hoschton , Ga. , Kerry Dean Garland (Tammy) of Clayton , Ga. ,one daughter , Julia Cody (Jason) of Clayton, Ga. , His mother , Ida Mae Wall Garland of Clayton, Ga. two step children , Kenneth Mason , Jr. of Clayton , Ga. , Adrien Mason Peterson of Salmon , ID. , one brother , Robert Earl Garland , Jr. of Clayton , Ga. , three sisters, Barbara Taylor of Dalton , Ga. , Betty Thomas of Clayton , Ga. and Carolyn Sutton of Clayton , Ga., twelve grandchildren and one great grandson also survive.

Funeral Services will be at 7:00 P.M. Friday Feb. 19 , 2016 at the New Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Cannon officiating. Visitation will be at the Chapel from 5 to 7 P.M. (The funeral hour). Cremation will follow.

The family is at the home on Wayah Trail, Clayton , Ga.
