Douglas Jason Hamilton

Douglas Jason Hamilton, 45, of Cornelia, GA passed away Sunday, May 29, 2022, at his home.

Born on September 9, 1976, he is the son of the David Hamilton and the late Gwendolyn Sue Kirkland.

Douglas served in the United States Navy where he was as a Hull Maintenance Technician.

He is survived by his father, David Hamilton, and stepmother Kathleen; his fiancé of 5 years, Tina Dotson; one brother, Stacey Hansen; one sister, Jessica Brantley; two uncles, Larry Hamilton, and Michael (Christy) Hamilton; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

A visitation will be Thursday, June 2, 2022, from 6 – 8 pm at Hunter Funeral Home, 423 Warwoman Rd. Clayton, GA 30525.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Hunter Funeral Home is assisting the Hamilton family.
