Edith Henslee Conner

Edith Henslee Conner, age 79, of Dillard, Georgia, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, June 9, 2026.

She was born on November 14, 1946, in Rabun County to the late Fred "Buck" Henslee and Belle Wilburn Henslee. Edith dearly loved her family and found great joy in spending time with them, especially her precious grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling with her family and had a special love for clothes, handbags, and shopping. Edith was a faithful servant of the Lord, having been a longtime member of Clayton Church of God before recently joining Franklin Church of God. Her strong faith and dedication to serving God were evident throughout her life.

She is survived by her children, Bryan Alexander and wife, Kim, and Rachel Justice and husband, Todd; grandchildren, Ashley Stroud (Colton), Nolan Alexander (Abbi), Logan Justice (Megan), Caleb Justice, and Luke Justice; great-grandchildren, Collier Stroud and Conley Kate Stroud; sister, Sue Patton; stepchildren, Theresa Talley, Chuck Conner, Jeff Conner, Hank Conner, Mark Conner, and Rachel Conner; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Roy Conner; and brothers, Harold Henslee, Bud Henslee, and Floyd Henslee.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Franklin Church of God with Rev. Hank Conner, Rev. Clay Patton, and Rev. Ricky Brewer officiating.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Franklin Church of God from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial donations be made in memory of Edith Conner to Women of Worth, 5989 Highway 441 North, Lakemont, GA 30552.
