Eva Taylor

Eva Ivester Wilkerson Taylor, 90, of Lakemont, GA died Friday April 5, 2019 in Royston, GA.

Born in Rabun County, February 26, 1929, she was the daughter of the late John Ivester and Anna Lee Brown Ivester. She had lived all of her life in Rabun County. Eva was a homemaker and she had ministered to a lot of people in her long years and was loved by every one who knew her.

Eva was twice married, first to the late Philip Wilkerson and later to the late James Williard Taylor. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Anna Ivester and her husbands, Philip Wilkerson and James Taylor and two daughters, Ethel Worley and Linda Gipson. She is survived by five sons, Roger Wilkerson (Betty Sue) of Lakemont, GA, Ronald Wilkerson (Kay) of Lakemont, GA, Raymond Wilkerson (Brenda) of McDonald, GA, Roy Wilkerson (Becky) of Stockbridge, GA, Donnie Wilkerson (Sue) of Lakemont, GA, one daughter, Debra (Doug) Moss of Royston, GA, one sister, Betty Jo Weigel of Morrow, GA. Thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild also survive.

Funeral services will be Monday April 8, 2019 at 2:00PM at Joy Baptist Church with Rev. Tony Goss officiating. Burial will be in the Wiley Presbyterian Cemetery.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where visitation will be Sunday April 7, 2019 from 6:00PM to 9:00PM. The body will be placed in Joy Baptist Church at 1:00PM on Monday April 8, 2019 to lie in state.
The family is at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Kay Wilkerson in Lakemont.
