George Ledbetter

George Ledbetter, Jr., 65, of Toccoa, Georgia., died Friday November 4, 2016 in Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born in Rabun County February 21, 1951, he was the son of Bessie Rogers Ledbetter Cragg and the late George Ledbetter. George had worked in the automotive industry for many years as a car painter and other duties in the automotive industry. He was a member of House of Prayer at Fairfield, Walhalla, SC.

He was preceded in death by his father, George Ledbetter and by a brother, E.J. Ledbetter., and is survived by his wife, Lisa Coker Ledbetter of Dallas, GA., his mother, Bessie Rogers Ledbetter Cragg of Westminster, SC., one son Jeffery Ledbetter (Brianna) of Tiger, GA. Three step-children, Christina Thomaston, Susan Dendy and Michelle Cumming. One brother, Curtis Cragg ( Nancy) of Clarkesville, GA. Two sisters, Dorothy Day (Steve) Walhalla, SC., and Janice Ledbetter of Stanford, NC. Six step-grandchildren and several nephews, nieces and cousins also survive.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Sunday November 6, 2016 at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Rogers and Rev. Russell Cantrell officiating. Burial will follow at Rabun Memory Park Tiger, Georgia.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where visitation will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Saturday November 5, 2016. The family is at their respective residences.
