Hannon Mashburn

Hannon Mashburn, 76, of Seed Tick Road, Clayton, Georgia., died Wednesday April 29, 2015 in Mountain View Health Care.

Born in Rabun County, June 6, 1938 He was the son of the late Harley and Ada Dills Mashburn. He was a caretaker of a hog farm and was of the Baptist Faith.

Hannon was preceded in death, besides his parents, by two brothers, Dover and Bobby Mashburn and by two brothers-in-law, Billy Watts and Alton Welborn, and is survived by sisters, Ellender Welborn of Tiger, GA., and Reba Watts of Tiger, GA., and twins, Gearldean and Sylvia Mashburn of Clayton, GA. One brother, Ted Mashburn of Lakemont, GA.

Funeral Services will be Friday May 1, 2015 at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home at 3:00 P.M. conducted by Layman Lloyd Hunter. Burial will follow in the Wiley Cemetery.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends Friday May 1, 2015 from 2:00 P.M.to 3:00 P.M. (The funeral hour). The family is at the home of his sisters, Gearldean and Sylvia Mashburn on Seed Tick Road, Clayton, Georgia.
