Harold Ford

Harold Eugene (Buddy) Ford, 68, of Bethel Road, Tiger, Georgia., died Wednesday October 12, 2016 in Mountain Lakes Medical Center Clayton, Georgia.

He was born June 17, 1948 in Duluth, Georgia., to the late Donald D. Ford and Ramesia West Ford. He was self-employed in the wood working industry, creating furniture plus works of art. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps in the Vietnam War and was of the Baptist Faith.

Buddy is survived by a special companion, Robin Garland, of the home. One son, Patrick Ford (Hannah) of Statesboro, GA. One daughter, Rebekah Folsom (Andy) of St. Louis, MO. Five grandchildren, Avery, Kearah, Maisie, Cora and Caitlin.

Funeral services will be at the Eastside Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home Tuesday October 18, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. conducted by Rev. Buddy McKay and Rev. Ken Franklin. Burial will be at 2:30 P.M. Tuesday at The Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening October 16, 2016 at the Eastside Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home from 6 to 8 P.M. The family is at home on Bethel Road, Tiger, Georgia. The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made, in his memory, to the American Legion Post 220 of Clayton, P.O. Box 403, Clayton, GA. 30525.
