Harrison ( Ray ) O'Shields

Harrison Ray O’shields , 37 , of Tiger , Ga. affectionately known as Ray , died Wednesday April 13 , 2016 at his home.

Ray was born January 6 , 1979 in Rabun County to the late Harrison O’shields , Jr. and Rheba Owen O’shields (Henslee) of Clayton. He was an automobile mechanic and was of the baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his father Harrison O’shields , Jr. and a brother , Mitchell O’shields and by a Sister , Emily O’shields and is survived by his wife , Teresa Ivy O’shields of the home. Three sons , Preston O’shields and Jeffery O’shields , both of Tennessee and Austin O’shields of the home, One daughter Emily Ivy O’shields of Tennesse. Also surviving is his mother , Rheba Henslee of Clayton and by a brother , Sam O’shields (Theresa) of Dagsboro , Delaware.

Funeral Services will be Thursday April 21 , 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the Chapel of Hunter funeral home conducted by Rev. Louis Stern. Burial will be in the Joy Baptist Cemetery, Lakemont , Ga. The body is at Hunter funeral home where visitation will be Wednesday April 20, 2016 from 2 to 4 P.M. The family is at the home in Tiger.

Family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made , in his memory , to Hunter funeral home , P.O. Box 653 , Clayton , Ga. 30525, to aid in funeral expenses.
