Howard Justus

Howard Emmitt Justus, 68, of Clayton, GA, died Tuesday April 24, 2018 at his home.

Born September 3, 1949 he was the son of the late Webb Daniel Justus and Mae Baker Ledbetter. He was a funeral director’s assistant, and was in the US Army and was a baptist by faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Hugh Dennis Justus and a step-father William Ledbetter. He is survived by his wife Maggie Justus of Clayton, one son, Daniel Justus of Clayton, GA., three daughters, Sherrie Justus, Rhonda Edmonds, and Donna Justus all of Clayton, GA., and three step-sons, Timothy Coleman, James Coleman and Christopher Weeks also of Clayton, GA. He is also survived by two sisters Barbara Strickland of Snellville, GA., and Doris Gipson of Mountain City, GA. Thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Sunday April 29, 2018 at 2:00 PM with Ronia Hunter and Chaplain John Reesere officiating. burial will follow at Roane Cemetery Tiger, Georgia. with military honors.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends Saturday April 28, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

The family is at the home on Deaden Timber Road Tiger, Georgia.
