Jack Dodgins

Jack Dodgins, age 85, of Lakemont, GA, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Northeast Medical Center in Gainesville, GA. Born on May 29, 1939, in Rabun County to the late Tom and Mary Lou Dodgins, Jack is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Angela Dodgins. He proudly served in the United States Army from 1958 to 1967, working as a mechanic and tank retriever. It was during his service in Germany that he met his wife, Angela, in 1959.

In addition to his wife, Angela, he is survived by one son, Dennis Dodgins; three grandchildren, Kristy Dodgins, Joshua Dodgins, and Jesse Dodgins; and one great-grandchild, Daniel Dodgins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Mary Lou Dodgins, and seven brothers and sisters.
