James Edward Barlow , 78 , of Chestnut Mtn. Drive, Rabun Gap , Georgia died Thursday night August 11 , 2016 in Commerce , Georgia . He was born in Upson County , Georgia August 25 , 1937 to Carl and Nellie Brown Barlow.

He was the Husband of Ellen Ryals Barlow of Rabun Gap, GA.

Mr. Barlow was a Contractor in the Building Industry and was a member of the Kingdom Hall, Jehovahs Witness in Mt. City , GA.

He was preceded in death by a son, Duane Barlow and by a brother , Sherrod Barlow and is survived by his wife , Ellen Ryals Barlow of Rabun , Gap, GA. Two sons , Derek Barlow (Jamie) of Clayton, GA. , Jeff Barlow (Tammy) of Toccoa , GA., two daughters Julie Davis (Norm) of Dothan AL. , and Angela Palmer (John) of Ocala , FL. , two brothers Clayton Barlow of Ocala , FL. , and Henry Barlow of Talahassee, FL. , one sister Elsie Barlow Holder of Blairsville , GA. . Seven grandchildren also survive.

Burial will be Monday August 15, 2016 at 2:00 P.M., in the Barlow Family Cemetery in Indian Springs , GA.

A memorial service will be held Saturday August 27 , 2016 at the Kingdom Hall Jehovahs Witness , Mt. City , GA. at 2:00 PM. conducted by Scot Roberge.
