James Daugherty

.James Robert Daugherty, age 80, passed away on March 30, 2020 at Mountain Lakes Medical Center in Clayton, GA.
He was born on April 24, 1939 to the late James and Mattie McCarty Daugherty, he was a bus driver and of the Church of God faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Marie Daugherty, two sons, James Robert Daugherty Jr. and Roy Fisher, and one daughter Barbara Holbrooks. He is survived by one son, James Danny Daugherty(Bobbi Jo) of Rabun Gap, GA, four daughters, Marlene Thomas(David) of Rabun Gap, GA., Diane Harmon(Richard) of Lakemont, GA., Vera Turpin of Lakemont, GA, Kathleen Tuggle(Melvin) of Tiger, GA., and one brother Kenneth Reynolds(Camella) of Shooting Creek NC. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren also survive.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home and will be cremated with a memorial service to follow at a later date.

The family is at their respective residences.
