James Leslie Neely

James Leslie "Les" Neely, 53 of Rabun County, GA passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Mountain Lakes Medical Center in Clayton.

Born in Rabun County he was the son of Crawford Neely and Beverly Mitchell Mason. Les worked as a code enforcement officer for Rabun County. He was a member of the Rabun County Coon Hunters Club and was a member of the Old County Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Crawford Neely and Beverly Mason, Les is survived by his wife, Krista Neely of the home, four sons, Kinsey Taylor, Kaden Taylor, Koleman Taylor and Kaleb Taylor (Starr Flowers) all of Clayton, two daughters, Kendall Zachary (Justice Crawford) of Highlands, NC and Katelynn Henderson (Mitchell) of Clayton, GA, two sisters, Sonya Neely and Shelia Woodall both of Clayton, a nephew, Matthew Neely and a niece, Marena Woodall, also by five grandchildren, Luke, Skylar, Lucy, Easton and Asher.

The body has been cremated and the family will receive friends on Sunday, August 22, 2021 from 2:00pm - 3:00pm at the Community Market of Rabun County followed by a memorial service at 3:00pm with Pastor Madison McCrackin and Rev. Joe McCrackin officiating. (The Community Market of Rabun County is located behind the Rabun County Civic Center.)

The family is at the home on Louisiana Circle.
