James R. Taylor , 69 , of Tiger. Ga. died at his residence Wednesday February 4 , 2009 . Born in Rabun County , Ga. January 12 , 1940 , He was the son of the late Jesse Clayton Taylor and Jessie Marie Garland Taylor . He was an Automobile Mechanic and was a member of the NRA. He was of the Baptist faith .
He was preceded in death by a daughter , Angie Taylor and is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law , Kim Jarrard of Tiger , Ga. and by Von and Kenneth Free of Clayton . By two brothers , Denver Taylor of Lakemont , Ga. and Sam Taylor of Tiger , Ga. By two sisters , Mildred Taylor Turpin of Franklin , North Carolina and Eunice Taylor Billingsley of Scaly Mtn. , North Carolina . Six grand children , Sheena Jarrard , Alley Jarrard , Kenzi Jarrard , Tony Galloway , Jr. , Brady Galloway and Salem Free. Two great grandchildren , Ayla Jarrard and Bethany Galloway along with several nephews , nieces and cousins.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday February 7 , 2009 at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Layman Lloyd Hunter officiating . The body is at Hunter Funeral Home where family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Friday February 6 , 2009 . The family is at the home of his daughter and son-in-law , Von and Kenneth Free on Holt Hollow Lane , Clayton . Cremation will follow the service on Saturday .
