Janice Jeanette "Net" Ramey Webb

Janice Jeanette Ramey Webb known as “Net”, age 72, of Clayton, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 14, 2026, with her loving family by her side.

Born on November 8, 1953, in Clayton, Georgia, she is the daughter of the late Vernice and Louise Ramey. Net was married to the love of her life, Harold Webb, for 50 wonderful years, and she loved him deeply.

Net had a special love for her dogs, Pepper and Mary, whom she cherished as her babies. She dearly loved her family and treasured every moment spent with them. A devoted Christian, Net loved the Lord and was a faithful member of Clayton Church of God. She also enjoyed traveling the roads with Harold as she rode along with him during his trucking trips over the years.

In addition to her husband, Harold Webb, she is survived by her sisters, Barbara Webb (Doug) of Long Creek, South Carolina, Judy Thrift of Clayton, Georgia, Sheryl Green (Jerry) of Turnerville, Georgia, and Cammey Carpenter (Stacey) of Clayton, Georgia; brothers, Johnny Ramey (Linda) of Clayton, Georgia, and Scott Ramey (April) of Clayton, Georgia; granddaughters, Ashley Owens and Haley Owens; a special great-granddaughter, Jasmine Nelson; along with several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Jean Carter and Linda Mackin; one brother, Terry Ramey and stepdaughter, Wanda Owens.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Clayton Church of God with Rev. Bryan Alexander and Perry Lunsford officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until the service hour at the church. Burial will follow at Long Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will be gathering at the house of Scott Ramey, 618 Clois Road, Clayton, GA 30525.
