Jesse Coleman Craig Hopkins

Jesse Coleman Craig Hopkins, age 41, of Clayton, Georgia, passed away on January 14, 2026.

Jesse was born on October 28, 1984, and was the son of the late Ricky Hopkins and Dinah Beck. He had a deep love for the outdoors and spent many hours hunting and fishing, but his true passion was rock hunting—especially in search of rubies and garnets. Jesse also took great pride in crafting handmade knives, a hobby that reflected his patience and skill. Above all, he cherished his family, holding a special place in his heart for his grandmother, Virginia, and his grandfather, whom he affectionately called “Skipper.”

He is survived by his two daughters, Elizabeth Hopkins and Delilah Hopkins; his brother, Samuel Hopkins; his niece, Hannah Webb; his cousins, Kelli Brown and Brittney Hopkins; and his aunts and uncles, Doug Hopkins and his wife, Michelle, Lonnie Beck (Dick), Donald Beck, Vivian Beck Stargel, Debbie Beck Hooper, and Laverne Hopkins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Glenn “Rip” and Virginia Bleckley Hopkins, and Ray and Icy Beck.

A memorial service will be announced once arrangements are complete.
